After six years of service to the journal, I announce my resignation as Editor-in-Chief of Architronic: The Electronic Journal of Architecture with the publication of this issue. I was a member of the inagural board for the journal which was first published in December 1992. During my tenure as Editor the journal has introduced a number of innovations. Most of those are described in "Architecture, Graphics, and the Net: A Short History of Architronic, A Peer-Reviewed E-Journal." The Public-Access Computer Systems Review 7, no. 3 (1996): 4-11.I would like to thank the members of the board with whom I have served, especially F. William Lucak, Kent State University; Lauren O'Connell, Ithaca College; Lee Gray, University of North Carolina at Charlotte; Alfred Willis, UCLA; Jeanine Centuori; and Jack Kremers, Judson College. Equal thanks also goes to the authors for their contributions, and to the NEA for their important financial support.
I remain an ardent advocate of electronic publishing. I hope that the issues of Architronic published to date will aid in defining the future of the electronic medium in communicating architectural ideas and concepts.
