Architronic V3n1 - May 1994

ON MOSAIC'S TERMS

With the May 1994 issue, Architronic is no longer using the ASCII text format as its primary journal format. Instead, our first production priority is the Mosaic version of the journal. Those who can only view Architronic in the ASCII format will not notice great changes, but it does signal the direction we believe architectural communication will go.

Another change, tied with the primacy of the Mosaic format, is the inclusion (for the first time) of small video segments in one of the articles. It is our hope that -- through including additional media into architectural discourse -- we might hasten the general adoption of such communication tools in the field of architecture. The board of editors would especially like to solicit comments on the success and failure readers have in physically viewing the video segments. Please write a short comment to archeds@kentvm.kent.edu
